Learning through Intracortical Microstimulation and Peripheral Nerve Stimulation
What potential role does learning play in sensory perception?
People learn through experiences every day. When we work to restore sensation, people are going through the process of trying to understand information through a modality they don't have extensive previous experience with. By understanding how the learning process works, we can try to make the transition easier to using the stimulation information efficiently
We plan to implement various training paradigms with different stimulation modalities and compare the user experience and performance across them.
How are we studying learning?
